Cold Rainy Weekends

I have a love/hate relationship with cold, rainy weekends. The weather tempts you to stay inside and do nothing. But this weekend was not a stay-at-home weekend. My Dad and I visited my brother in Houston. We were there for black belt testing (yeah! Dad's testing for his 1st degree!). We got through the test, had a celebratory lunch and a nap. Tired as we were, we couldn't get ourselves up for anthing more than a movie. So we saw Underworld: Evolution. It was as much fun as the first. Luckily, this movie didn't feature more of Speakman than the first one.

The next day, we had breakfast at La Madeleine, which is always fun even if it is a chain. Then we did something I didn't think I'd be able to convince them to do: we went to a museum.
