Another Reason To Love Austin

Last night, after work, I went for a run around Town Lake. The run itself was painful, difficult. At the end I was reminded of why I love Austin so much. The end of my run left me just east of the Austin Rowing landing at a bench by the water. The sun's beams danced on the water, the swans were out, and the wind played with the surface of Town Lake. It was beautiful, peaceful. It was a great way to end a run. I wish I'd had camera. Even if I had a camera, I doubt I would be able to capture how nice it was out there. There's something magical about pushing myself through a run to end up on a quiet shore.
