iPhone Wishlist
I started this post in Early August. I reviewed it today in anticipation of today's announcement. It still stands, tho' I think integration into .mac for my calendars, address book and to-do lists would be super-wow-awesome.
It's easy to resist the new iPhone when I see the price tag. $500 or $600 before any service charges or taxes? That's a hefty chunk of change. I do want one and am eagerly awaiting a smaller, more reasonably priced, version. I'd love an iPhone not much bigger than my iPod nano.
A smaller phone will likely mean I won't have web/email access, coverflow (why oh why is this still in the OS???), or video. I'm fine with that. All I really want is a phone/iPod combo. I can even do without a camera. Wait. Maybe a camera would be nice.
The killer feature for me, however, is the ability to send music to my stereo, via Airport Extreme/Express, from my iPhone. That would be cool.
